Hello again.. I am updating the blog after a long break but, it is
good to be back.
I have been trying my hand at making jewellery out of various
mediums like wire and beads, wood, canvas, M-Seal etc, and wanted to share my
discovery of a relatively new medium to make Jewellery with - Fired Terracotta
Clay. When I say relatively new, I mean that the medium is new to me, even
though it has been around since our primitive ancestors had the urge to adorn
themselves.
This versatile medium is easy to work with and produces earthy,
beautiful and surprisingly durable ornaments and jewellery.
So I have decided to give it a try. Here are a few of
my first trials.
